Sylka's industry experience enables her to identify the competencies and critical success factors that drive high-performing leaders and teams. Her expertise lies in helping senior management to identify and exploit opportunities to dramatically improve business performance through innovative growth strategies, talent and leadership development solutions and natural planning processes. Sylka has coached many clients, including senior executive managers, consultants and directors of global corporations as well as bright talents from business schools. She has developed and delivered numerous workshops and has served as coach in many add-on coaching programs, for example, Siemens, La Prairie/Juvena Group, VW Hungary, Esprit, Oetker, IZB Soft, ISM Business School and BU Bad Mergentheim.

Before working as an executive coach and program facilitator, Sylka gained significant expertise in a wide range of disciplines including sales and marketing, strategy, mergers and acquisitions and business development global environments. She served as executive vice president at Fresenius Kabi where she was responsible for the set-up and expansion of the company's healthcare activities in the European markets including bottom-line responsibility. She had full management responsibility for more than 200 employees in Europe. Sylka began her professional career working first of all for a consumer goods company and then moving on to a cosmetic company, mainly in marketing and sales.

Sylka has a master in nutritional science and completed a Trainers' Excellence Program as Process and Change Trainer certified by INALPTA. She is a Systems Coach, and is accredited in the use of the Intercultural Readiness Check and Creatrix (Building Creativity and Risk Taking in organizations). She participated at the "Getting Things Done" program with Lesley Boyle and David Allen, USA and the Leadership Training with Robert Dilts, USA.
